
Rigid Disk Media Simulator v0.1 Beta
Rigid Disk Media Simulation is based on a Project offered from the University of Manchester. The purpose of this project is to develop a software package for the simulation of rigid disk media. The software contained of a graphical user interface for the users to set the required materials' parameters and also an engine for the creation of simulated random structures for the materials, using a range of different physical models.
The minimum requirements of this software package to be run efficiently are:
A Pentium PC or higher.
64MB RAM or more.
10MB of free space on the hard disk.
A 32 - bit Microsoft operating system installed (Windows NT 4.0 is suggested).
MatLab engine installed.
